Based in Manchester, One Education is one of the largest education support companies in England. An opportunity has arisen for an Education Welfare and Safeguarding Team Adviser.
We support Schools, Academies and Local Authorities in the North West regarding school safeguarding and attendance. The work is challenging, varied and diverse and we pride ourselves on delivering a high quality of work to support establishments to put children first. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced person to join our highly skilled Education Welfare and Safeguarding Team. You must have experience in safeguarding in schools and will preferably understand the demands of the DSL role. We are looking for someone with drive and self-motivation and a specific knowledge in safeguarding and experience in developing and delivering training. You must be qualified to Level 3 as a minimum requirement. If you feel that you have the ability to provide a consistently high quality of work whilst meeting a variety of challenges, then we’d love to hear from you.
This is an excellent opportunity, as the successful candidate will receive training opportunities as well as the chance to develop and deliver training courses for face to face and online delivery. This will extend your skills base as well as promote career development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate the ability to work across multiple sites.
As the role requires travel within Greater Manchester, you will need to have a full driving license & access to your own vehicle.
