Salary: £23,000 to £30,000 Based in Manchester Permanent, full time 35 hours per week

One Education is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Adviser to contribute in generating new business sales for our company. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, acquiring new customers and maintaining good working relationships. You will be responsible for building your own network of accounts and will be targeted on new business.

You must be an excellent communicator and have exceptional people skills. You must be comfortable presenting products or services face to face along with dealing with complaints. The objective is to assist with the growth of One Education, by bringing in new customers from a wider geographical coverage.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To work in collaboration with the Head of Business Development creating innovative ways to promote One Education
  • Monitoring sales inboxes and responding to telephone enquiries
  • Generate new business using various sales methods (cold calling, presentations, face to face meetings etc)
  • Support the Head of Business Development in all areas of customer management and relationships with regards to service contracts. Deal with enquiries from customers and other agencies by telephone, email or face to face and provide support in the resolving of disputes/complaints.
  • Learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Maintaining and expanding client database within your assigned territory (Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire)
  • To record sales orders received along with the administration and monitoring of each sales order to completion
  • Building your own client base
  • To assist with any events as required
  • To ensure adherence to One Education policies and processes, with regards to HR, Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity, Data Protection, GDPR, Health and Safety and Child Protection

Personal Competences:

  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaint
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and Microsoft
  • Maths and English to GCSE level If you do not have any past Sales Experience, Training can be provided.

The postholder must have a full driving license & access to their own vehicle.
