Job Description

Senior Educational Psychologist
One permanent full-time contract
Grade: Soulbury Scale B Point 6-9 (plus 3 SPA points) [£57,544 - £60,690]

The service has arranged a new model in which our delivery focuses on 7 key practice strands, these are:

  • Assessment and Support
  • Complex Needs and Developmental Difference
  • Early Development
  • Families, Communities and Care
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing
  • Vulnerable Groups and Inclusion
  • Professional Development

The Senior Educational Psychologist will oversee one or more strands strategic direction, innovation agenda and excellence.

The title ‘Educational Psychologist’ is protected in law. Therefore, applicants must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), or, in the case of trainee EP’s, expect to be eligible for registration on completion of their recognised training course, an enhanced DBS check is also required for this post.
