This course is designed for safeguarding professionals in education working with children who have additional needs and disabilities. The aim of this course is to help you to understand the additional vulnerabilities and how you can use your existing expertise to safeguard and protect the most vulnerable students. The course will look at what research tells us, the learning from child safeguarding practice reviews, and how we use this to support us to be confident with professional challenge in the best interest of the children we support.
