The third One Education Literacy Conference is going to be something special. Opening #LitConf18 will be Manchester’s own poet, Tony Walsh (aka Longfella), sharing his inspirational poems and discussing the work he does in schools.
This course will look at how to use different resources such as wordless picture books, leaflets, poetry and films and music to engage and challenge children as readers. Participants will leave with improved knowledge and a bank of ideas to start their journey creating a culture of reading across the school.
