A half day course to give delegates the opportunity to discuss pupil's writing in line with the New Curriculum. The course will provide colleagues with the end of Key Stage statutory assessment arrangements in the new National Curriculum for Writing. It will give colleagues the opportunity to look at and develop assessment tools for use within school and offer the opportunity to moderate writing across local schools. This in turn will help to develop consistency within assessment.
All delegates should bring with them writing evidence from three children of different abilities as the majority of the course will be spent assessing writing and discussing work with colleagues.
