The theme for this network is 'Raising achievement through early literacy activities' with guest speaker Penny Tassoni. Developing a love of reading and an interest in writing is key to children's later educational achievement. This session looks at practical strategies which early years settings can adopt to develop children's early reading and writing. It also considers some of the key issues in supporting early literacy. The session will also be focused on meeting the professional needs of the EYFS role and will respond to the ever changing climate of EYFS current research and development.
