As a highlighted area in the Ofsted Handbook (January 2015), the CPD for NQTs is of paramount importance. The new to teaching networks provide support and training for NQTs and those teachers who are in the early stages of their careers. Subjects covered across all 5 sessions will include "supporting inclusion”, focusing on SEND, differentiation, working with additional adults, looking behind the behaviour, EMA and EAL. There will also be a focus on moving teaching from good to great. This series of events complements the MMU development programme for NQTs, which provides you with an opportunity to earn 30 M level credits towards a Masters qualification.
