Our music team have continued to support children and young people throughout lockdown with their music lessons by adapting provisions from learning in the classroom and music centres to virtual ways of practice. We strongly believe that making music promotes positive wellbeing and a healthy state of mind. We felt it imperative to do all we could to enable music lessons to continue despite the social distancing restrictions.
We have received lots of feedback from schools and parents who have witnessed that music has kept their children mentally strong through the lockdown. Here is a wonderful letter from one of our parents who expresses her feelings about our music service throughout the battle against COVID-19.
