: Supporting a child or young person with cancer in your school
Anne has over four decades of experience as an educational psychologist, working in a wide range of educational settings, multi-disciplinary teams and strategic groups, including 15 years as an academic and professional tutor.
Being passionate about understanding children and young people’s emotional needs, Anne has acted as an expert witness in complex child protection cases and worked extensively with a range of agencies, including Women’s Aid, the Lord Chancellor’s Department, and the Police, to improve responses to children.
Her own research looked at the impact of domestic violence on the emotional development of boys. She also has a long-term specialism in atypical development, including autism.
Having successfully set up and led a team of educational psychologists, Anne took partial retirement in 2013 to allow her to return to her roots as a hands-on caseworker.
