Colette Flynn is an Art Psychotherapist and Assistant Team Leader working for the Emotional & Trauma Support Service at One Education.

She is passionate about the health and emotional well-being of young people. She is an advocate of expressive therapies and the power of creativity in fostering the healing process. 

Colette's role means that she helps to lead a diverse team of creative therapists who work in educational settings to provide emotional support for children and young people. These therapeutic interventions provide evidence-based interventions which are child-centered and build confidence and self-esteem. By tapping into our innate creative impulses, these interventions provide new opportunities for young people to develop their own narrative and communicate their inner worlds.

She has experience working as a Visual Artist and Art Psychotherapist with a wide range of clients including adults, children. 1-1 and group work in both mainstream and specialised educational environments and the social care sector.
