One Education Careers were incredibly proud to be invited along to this year’sChoices exhibition, which took place at Manchester’s Event City on 29-30 March. With iPads in hand, we managed to speak to a huge number of young people, helping them to make sense of their options and the vast array of information on offer.
Leanne joined the One Future Careers Team in 2014. Since this time she has worked with several Manchester Schools, providing one to one careers guidance, supporting with organising and delivering a range of careers events and developing a work experience scheme that is going from strength to strength.
With over seven years' experience delivering information, advice and guidance in both education and community settings, Leanne has achieved a Level 6 Careers Advice and Guidance qualification and a Diploma in Careers Education at Level 7. She is also a registered member of the Career Development Institute (CDI).
Leanne feels passionately that high quality, aspirational work experience can help young people to develop the confidence and skills needed as they transition into adult life. She has put this passion into helping to develop a scheme that has now supported several schools in delivering work experience to their students.
Since joining the One Education Careers Team, Leanne has been working on some exciting new ideas and products that can be delivered to local schools to support young people to further aspire and achieve.
