One Education’s HR team has extensive experience in assisting and advising schools in relation to equality matters and their obligations under the public sector equality duty and specific duties.
In addition to supporting schools in relation to the day to day management of equality issues, our HR advisers can help schools to be proactive with regard to compliance with their statutory equality duties. This will, in turn, enable governors and senior leaders to face Ofsted inspections with confidence as far as equality matters are concerned.
Our Single Central Record audit includes an SCR specialist member of our HR team coming for a site visit to meet to your designated safeguarding officer, and any other persons responsible for maintaining & managing the SCR.
In depth discussions are held alongside an intensive review of your current systems and practices with the opportunity for you to ask questions and to receive practical advice and guidance.
One Education provides accredited and experienced school mediators who are used to dealing with the range of issues that cause disputes. You will be assigned with a mediator who acts as a point of contact should there be queries prior to, during or after the mediation.
The mediation process will include a scoping discussion, individual meetings with parties, a joint mediation session, sharing of mediation agreement where applicable and post mediation support and evaluation.

We provide strategic advice and guidance on any establishment wanting to review their Individual School Range (ISR) with a view to altering leadership pay, and provide onsite training for governors and members of the School Leadership Team (SLT) who are involved in making pay decisions.
