learners - Be able to support colleagues in their practice
- Be able to implement Speech and Language Therapy programmes
more effectively.
To see our full range of support for students with English as an Additional Language, see our EAL & Language Support page.
Fiona O, 2014 Quote from Elklan studentImmediate practical strategies that can be implemented… I now have knowledge which has helped me understand difficulties a child may be experiencing with language and literacy and how I can help or seek support for them.
We run this course periodically throughout the year at our offices in Manchester.
As a more cost-effective solution, we can also deliver the training direct in your school.
There is an opportunity for participants to gain a Level 2 or 3 qualification (with 9 credits) accredited through AptEd. The participants will need to do 1 – 2 hours work per training day outside of the course time and complete an e-portfolio.
