Workshop G in Room Evolve

Using Technology to enhance your Literacy Curriculum

Amy will be sharing how she uses technology to enhance literacy lessons and to allow pupils to apply their literacy skills across the curriculum.

She will demonstrate the basic features of Book Creator, Chatterpix, Explain Everything, Clips and Keynote apps and share examples of her pupils’ work created using the apps.

She will also share how she creates ‘book hooks’ by ‘App Smashing’ to create CCTV in the classroom. Throughout the workshop, Amy will explore how she helped to promote a love of reading by using technology to enable members of staff to read bedtime stories to pupils.
