The One Education School Development Team are highly experienced in all aspects of the English and Mathematics curriculum. The team are up to date with DfE guidance, STA updates and current educational research. The School Development Team pride themselves on their passion and enthusiasm in improving Literacy and Maths outcomes for all children. They support the whole school through a variety of leadership development, teacher support, advice, workshops and training.
Head of School Improvement, Maths and Literacy
Jo is the Head of School Improvement, Maths and Literacy. She is an STA accredited moderator for Manchester and she has worked with schools all over the North West providing training, support and development to schools and academies.
Jo works across Early Years, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two delivering leadership support, pupil premium reviews, training and CPD, teaching and learning reviews, assessment and monitoring guidance, whole school curriculum support, individual teacher support and bespoke packages to meet your needs.
Before joining the team at One Education, Jo was Literacy Leader and Deputy Head at a school in Trafford.
Laura joined One Education in 2016 as a Literacy Consultant. Before this, she worked as a Key Stage Two Leader and English Leader at a primary school in Manchester. Whilst working as a teacher, Laura led wide-ranging training opportunities for a number of cluster schools and developed the teaching, monitoring and assessment of the new primary curriculum. Laura now specialises in providing bespoke training and support to schools across all aspects of the English curriculum. She works with members of SLT, supports staff within the classroom as well as facilitating moderation, the implementation of CPD and assisting in whole school curriculum change.
