This Advanced Training for Designated Safeguarding Leads gives an opportunity to look deeper in to the role and requirements of the Designated Safeguarding Lead whilst meeting the two-yearly statutory training needs for DSLs as stated in Keeping Children Safe in Education.

The session is aimed at those who are more experienced in the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead for their setting and offers an opportunity to share a greater depth of knowledge and experience with colleagues who have a similar level of expertise.

This training will cover the changes to KCSIE for September 2022, ensuring that you are aware of up to date legislation for the next academic year.

Who's it for?

This course is an advanced designated safeguarding lead training for any school or college designated safeguarding lead or senior leader who is experienced in the role.
