Award in Principles of COSHH - City & Guilds This course designed to introduce SLT, Site Managers and staff to the inherent risks in hazardous substances used in and around schools, and the controls available.

Course aims This course prepares delegates to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in co-operation with their managers and supervisors.

Course agenda Identify the hazards associated with substances Identify the risks and controls available to deal with the substances Identify what to expect from a COSHH assessment Multiple-choice examination.

Certification Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a City & Guilds Award in COSHH Principles.

Who's it for? This course is for delegates who are responsible for the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) at school i.e., Senior Leaders, as well as employees who use hazardous substances in the workplace i.e., Cleaning and Kitchen Staff / Site Managers / Laboratory Assistants.
