Designated Safeguarding Lead Training - 20 January 2022

This CPD Certified Learning takes an in-depth look at key legislation and government guidance which provides the framework to safeguarding within our schools. Through analysing serious case reviews and encouraging professional discussions, this course supports school leaders in reviewing and adapting their practice in line with Ofsted requirements. This training will cover the updated guidance for Keeping Children Safe in Education 2021 which will be in place from September and will also cover guidance around safeguarding whilst coronavirus measures are in place. This level of training is statutory for all DSLs and is required to be updated every 2 years as outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education 2021.

Who is it for?

School leaders, trust executives, designated safeguarding leads (DSL’s) and their deputies, as well as link safeguarding governors within schools and colleges.
