Focusing on the curriculum, these half-day, termly sessions are a fantastic opportunity to work alongside others in similar situations, whilst using the knowledge and experience of the course facilitators who are experienced moderators; curriculum advisors for the STA; school leaders and classroom teachers.

The date of this session is 26th May 2022
All 3 sessions can be booked as a discounted bundle by selecting the 'All 3 dates' one. The other dates in the series are 11th November 2021 and 10th March 2022 which can also be booked individually.

The meetings will focus on:

  • DfE and national updates
  • Progression in the curriculum
  • Text based curriculum planning
  • Assessment in the Early Years
  • Resources for the classroom: tried and tested
  • Latest research and how to effectively apply it
  • Supporting and Improving standards
  • Developing knowledge and skills
  • Transition
  • Sharing good practice
  • Network opportunities

Over the year practitioners will be given the opportunity to reflect and discuss current practice in relation to education research, together with reference to the learning, development and assessment requirements of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.

A network event can be attended as a single event but attending the three meetings throughout the year will allow for EYFS practitioners to gain invaluable support to improve knowledge and skill, along with practical ideas to adapt within the classroom.

Delegates will receive a resource pack and be encouraged to complete a follow up task between sessions to embed new ideas into their practice.
