Maths Leader Network Meeting- 30 June 2020

Content

The Maths Leader network meetings take place once a term and are a fantastic way for leaders to learn about the latest research; understand developments in Mathematics education and network with colleagues.

The meetings will focus on:

• Leading Maths across the school • DfE and national updates, including learning from national assessments • Applying the latest research and having the chance to work together on collaborative research projects • Whole school curriculum planning and progression • Building a mastery curriculum • How to develop fluency and number sense • Improving problem solving and reasoning • Assessment • Supporting and Improving standards • Developing knowledge and skills • Practical ideas and resources to teach Maths effectively • Sharing good practice • Networking opportunities

A network event can be attended as a single event but attending the three meetings throughout the year will allow for Maths Leaders to continue to build upon their leadership skills whilst gaining invaluable, practical ideas to adapt within the classroom.

Free parking is available at the venue.
