Never before has looking after our mental health been so important. We are all susceptible to mental health concerns, that said the number of men with mental health needs is significant. As employers and leaders of schools we can do much more to support our male population.

This session will provide delegates with the understanding how to create an emotionally health environment for boys and men. We will look at some issues boys and men face and discuss helpful and practical measures which can be put into place in the class and staff room to ensure you can demonstrate a truly supportive inclusive school culture.

Your facilitators will be Pam Mason, our Staff Wellbeing Expert and special guest Patrick Ottley O’Connor, Executive Headteacher from Westhoughton High School. Patrick is a true role model when it comes to Health and Wellness and has some fantastic case studies to share with you.
