Content

As a new headteacher, this is an important period for yourself and your school. It is a time for you to plan your school’s future success, set the tone to secure progress and build confidence. One Education’s New to Headship CPD programme offers three and a half days of training and workshops covering current topics that will develop your knowledge and expertise of leading a school in the current educational landscape. Robust self-evaluation guidance will also enable you to be confident in your judgements in all Ofsted areas. Opportunities for bespoke work with highly experienced School Development professionals and previous Head teachers form an integral part of this training; enabling you to discuss your own present issues of school development, HR, governance and finance.
Through discussion and interactions, participants have the time to look at their individual situation, crucial relationships, leadership challenges, where to look for help and support, and how to create effective networks. There will be the chance to set up a networking group between delegates. There will also be the opportunity to work alongside others in the same situation and to use the knowledge and experience of the course facilitators.
