Webinar 1: Considering The Recovery Curriculum and Achieving 'Mental Wealth' in Schools Post COVID-19

Delivered by Colette Flynn, ETS Assistant Team Leader (Art Psychotherapist). This webinar will explore the concept of the Recovery Curriculum (Barry & Mat Carpenter 2020) and consider how these ideas can contribute towards achieving mental wealth within the school community upon returning post lockdown. This session will introduce many themes which will be expanded upon by later webinars and will provide a scaffold for this.

Webinar 2: The experience of loss, isolation and reconnection

Delivered By Jeni Goodfellow-Pemsel (Psychodrama / Dramatherapist), Gina Andrewes (Art Psychotherapist), Rosie Ince (Art Pschotherapist) & Natalie Mihajlovic (Dramatherapist). The experience of loss and isolation and the creative approaches to reconnection with school, family and friends.

Webinar 3: Managing our emotions; bringing yourself back to baseline

Delivered By Kate Brown, (Dramatherapist). The idea of the baseline was created to help children better understand their feelings and link it to their behaviour. If they know how they are feeling and what has triggered that emotion they are better equipped at altering their behaviour. Helping to reduce angry outbursts, falling out with friends or consequences in the classroom.

Webinar 4: Playing and Being Safe

Delivered by: Sandy Dunphy (Play Therapist) and Zoe Boston (Art Psychotherapist). This webinar will explore the importance and power of play and safe spaces. Within the current pandemic, this is especially relevant as we create new spaces for play whilst ensuring children feel safe and secure.

Webinar 5: Anxiety and how to work with it using sensory activities to facilitate emotional regulation

Delivered by Laura Haddick-Oxley (Art Psychotherapist) & Simon Read (Horticulture Therapist). Hands on creative approaches to managing anxiety using the benefits of nature and basic art materials.
