Our Safeguarding Conference brings together national leaders and experts in safeguarding and child protection. Our theme for this year, “Reducing Harm Through Education” will enable delegates to explore the possible risks that children are exposed to in different contexts, and how we, as educators can work to reduce these through the curriculum and by creating a robust safeguarding culture across our settings. Through attending workshops and hearing from highly regarded keynote speakers, delegates will leave with better awareness of current safeguarding risks to children and will be equipped with knowledge and resources available that can support prevention of these within schools and academy trusts.
In addition to three prominent keynote presentations, delegates will be able to access two workshops of their choice, from our range of safeguarding professionals and services. As well as these, a number of exhibitors will be attending the day and will be available to discuss their services with delegates at the conference. There will be opportunities to network with colleagues throughout the day and to reflect on safeguarding practice across settings. All delegates who attend the Safeguarding Conference as part of their continued professional development will receive a certificate of attendance.
