Subject Leader Network - 2 March 2022

This network is for all Subject Leaders or Middle leaders who lead a department, a key stage, or a specialist area. Successful leaders inspire and motivate others and - at the same time - keep the school ticking on a day to day basis. Course facilitators have had experience of leading from the middle and will draw upon their own experiences to help you in your journey.

This course will explore:

Motivating and inspiring others through your vision.
Reviewing current practice in your school Successful action planning.
Implementing findings from research for middle leadership.
Holding others to account.
Coaching and mentoring other colleagues.
Your wellbeing and workload.

This 2nd single session date is 2nd March 2022

The other session dates are 2nd December and 7th July which you can choose to book on individually. If you wish to book on all three sessions to benefit from the discount, please click on the 'All 3 sessions' when booking.

Delegates will receive a resource pack and be encouraged to complete intersessional tasks between the three sessions which will allow delegates to apply the course content to their practice, and review it within the sessions.

Through discussion and interactions, participants have the time to look at their individual situation, where to look for help and support, and how to create effective networks. There will be the chance to set up a networking group between delegates. There will also be the opportunity to work alongside others in the same situation and to use the knowledge and experience of the course facilitators.

During the programme, there may be the option to book on additional half days that are specific to your subject or phase, depending on demand.
