The Big Sing 2019

Event Content “Something old, something new”

The brilliant Big Sing is back for another year!

Come and join in with the celebrations by singing and dancing along to a live band in the beautiful setting of the Bridgewater Hall.

On Friday 28th June 2019 over 1500 pupils will come together to sing a host of pop songs past and present, from artists ranging from Stevie Wonder through to Justin Timberlake with a bit of The Greatest Showman thrown in for good luck!

Years 5, 6, 7 and 8 are invited to come and join in the fun and sing along with other schools. Key Stage 2 and 3 choirs are also welcome to attend.

The cost of the event includes song sheets and tracks to support you in the teaching of the songs. We’re sure that the songs we’ve chosen will be familiar to you so this year we won’t be providing support visits to schools. However, if your school would especially like a visit then this can be arranged, so please do get in touch.

So, dress up as your favourite pop star from the 70's or come as present day singer – the choice is yours. All we insist on is that you have fun and enjoy this amazing event. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Who's It For? Music coordinators, Year 5, 6, 7 and 8 teachers, and Heads of Music

Age Phase Primary: Years 5 and 6, secondary: Years 7 and 8
