EYFS Conference: Building Foundations for Success with MCC and One Education #EYFSConf24
Manchester City Council and One Education are passionate about building foundations for success in the Early Years and are coming together to facilitate a conference which will explore how we can do this. The aim for the day is to collaborate, share and discover what works best for our young children in their early years.
Emotional Regulation and Emotion Coaching for Early Years
This training draws upon the theoretical and neuroscience background regarding the development of self-regulation and how this development was interrupted during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Identification of SEND in a post COVID-19 education system
This session will focus on how the experiences of UK school children during COVID-19 have presented challenges for staff in identifying SEND. It includes exploring the difference between delayed and disordered language development and the strategies/tools that can be used to ensure that the identification of SEND is appropriate given the previous experiences of the pupils.Â
