This course is a Designated Safeguarding Lead training (Advanced) for any school or college DSL or senior leader who is experienced in the role. This training meets the two-yearly statutory training requirements for DSLs as stated in Keeping Children Safe in Education and gives a deeper insight into the role and requirements.
This Advanced training for Designated Safeguarding Leads gives an opportunity to look deeper in to the role and requirements of the Designated Safeguarding Lead, whilst meeting the two-yearly statutory training needs for DSLs as stated in KCSIE. The session is aimed at those who are more experienced in the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead for their setting and offers an opportunity to share a greater depth of knowledge and experience with colleagues who have a similar level of expertise.
