Manchester Local authority is looking to support EYFS practitioners to feel confident in their judgments of the EYFS ELGS. Some schools have been selected to receive a single visit. All other schools are invited to attend a cluster moderation session. There are eight sessions and your school representatives are invited to attend one of them.
Only for Manchester Schools – A maximum of 2 practitioners per school can attend. There will be twelve to twenty other schools at each moderation session.
The areas for moderation this year are Personal, Social and Emotional Development and Literacy.
The dates and locations of the moderation sessions are:
Thursday 9th May – AM session (9.15am – 12.15pm) – Blackley Golf Club
Thursday 9th May – PM session (1pm – 4pm) – Blackley Golf Club
Wednesday 22nd May – AM session (9.15am – 12.15pm)Â – Heald Place primary School
