This session will take governors through their roles in the school planning, monitoring and review cycle and identify the support and challenge that they can provide to school leaders.
This session will also provide practical tools for governors to enable them to reflect on their own impact and effectiveness and identify their own areas for development. The session will use the governors’ competency framework to identify the essential skills and knowledge required by governors.
