This half day CPD accredited training session will provide colleagues who work in attendance with the knowledge and expertise to effectively embed this guidance into everyday attendance practice in schools. We will discuss the correct use of attendance codes within daily registers, local authority procedures, data analysis and the importance of measuring the impact of interventions. Our Education Welfare and Safeguarding advisers will offer the chance to reflect on procedures, discuss individual cases and barriers to school attendance, and to share best practice.
