Contents
The training will cover:
- An update regarding key messages from STA and the local authority regarding writing, moderation in 2026
- A review of assessment and reporting arrangements for 2026-27
- Advice and guidance with using the Teacher Assessment Framework and making accurate assessments of pupils’ writing, especially at the GDS standard
- How to prepare for internal and external moderation
There will also be an opportunity for staff if they wish to do so, to discuss, with moderators, samples of work for pupils for whom they are finding it difficult to make assessments
