Our team combines the knowledge and experience of leading experts in education, brought together by our shared ambition to support lifelong learning and
pupil achievement.

Jo has many years of school leadership experience, working with schools all over the North West and beyond. She works across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 delivering leadership support, whole school curriculum and Literacy support. She is lead moderator for KS1 and 2 in Oldham and monitors SATs and Phonics for Manchester. Jo is a self-confessed book addict who is passionate in supporting ALL children and staff in striving to be the best they can be.

HEAD OF EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Laura, a curriculum expert in KS1 and KS2 Reading for the DfE and an experienced lead moderator, specialises in providing bespoke training, monitoring and evaluation to schools across the curriculum, with a particular focus on English. She leads the One Education Reading Award and is passionate about ensuring every child becomes a fluent reader who loves to read.

LITERACY TEAM LEADER

Helen has spent the last 20 years working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a range of settings and roles, and is now working as a Specialist Inclusion Teacher and Speech and Language Therapist at One Education.

HEAD OF SEND AND SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY

Alice has worked across a range of schools in the Northwest to deliver support and training on Literacy and leadership development. She has extensive experience in leading successful research and development projects and is an expert writing moderator, skilled in developing all children as writers. Alice is inspirational when it comes to creating bespoke curriculums and passionate about evolving teachers and leaders to link their literacy teaching and learning to benefit transferable skills across the curriculum to enhance life chances for all.

Shelley leverages her extensive expertise in the EYFS, trauma-responsive practice, leadership and school improvement to advise and empower schools she supports. Throughout her two decades as a classroom practitioner and senior leader— including her highly impactful tenures as Deputy and Headteacher in Manchester and Trafford. Shelley has championed the belief that emotional safety is the absolute foundation of academic success.
