She provides strategic guidance, consultation and tailored professional development to strengthen attendance, enhance safeguarding practice and ensure statutory compliance. Passionate about early intervention and partnership working, Jess collaborates with leaders to build inclusive, resilient school communities where every child feels safe, supported and able to succeed.
Chris works across diverse communities, developing effective intervention strategies and strengthening whole-school culture around attendance and safeguarding. Supporting schools and academy trusts across the North West, she advises senior leaders and collaborates closely with parents to rebuild engagement in their children’s education and wellbeing through a support-first, multi-agency approach. Chris also delivers attendance-focused training for both new and experienced staff, with a emphasis on sustainable, long-term improvement and measurable outcomes.
Vanessa is passionate about supporting Designated Safeguarding Leads through high-quality supervision and engaging, impactful training. Her continued frontline safeguarding work keeps her attuned to emerging challenges and reinforces her commitment to continually developing practice. Vanessa finds it rewarding to receive positive feedback from schools on the impact of CPOMS Quality Assurance reviews and Safeguarding Assessments, reflecting the meaningful difference her work makes.
Lauren prioritises building strong relationships with schools, ensuring children remain at the heart of every decision and action. She is particularly passionate about contextual safeguarding and supporting schools to understand its implications for education while developing robust safeguarding cultures. Lauren also values delivering high-quality safeguarding supervision, creating reflective spaces that strengthen professional practice, build confidence and promote positive, sustainable outcomes for children and young people.
Sarah has a degree in education and has spent the last 20 years working in schools. Her experience as a safeguarding lead across schools means she has skills and knowledge in this area which she is able to share with schools who are working with complex families and those open to children's social care. Sarah is passionate about delivering training to staff to ensure that they are highly skilled professionals, which in turn improves the outcomes for vulnerable students.
