This month we are delighted to be celebrating 10 years of supporting schools and helping students to blossom, fulfilling their potential. This is the perfect time to reflect on the last 10 years and to say a thank you to each and every school we have worked with, and continue to work with, as we wouldn’t exist without you.
Founded in 2011 with a vision to support schools, young people and families in Manchester, One Education has since gone on to support hundreds of school leaders and thousands of pupils across the region and beyond. Over the past 10 years, we have worked with over 800 schools throughout the North of England- including Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire, Yorkshire and Staffordshire.
One Education is made up of a team of education experts, professionals and teachers who strive to enhance the quality of education for young people by supporting students and staff. Our pupil services deliver support at an individual and whole-school level, offering services including educational psychology, education welfare, emotional trauma support, literacy, music and school improvements. We also have a key focus on delivering support for school leaders and school business managers in areas including HR, ICT, marketing, school finance, governors and payroll.
One Education’s CEO, Kieran McDermott, explains our motivation. “Schools exist to give children the best possible start in life and so they deserve the best support. That was why we set up One Education ten years ago and it’s still the reason we exist today. We are very proud of our work and of all the partners we continue to work with. Our aim has always been to have the best people doing the best job, supporting schools and their children to do great things.”
The powerful impact that One Education’s services has on the schools we support has made us a key partner to the hundreds of schools, many of which have worked with us for a decade.
