The Government’s Plan for Change puts children at the heart of its priorities. As part of this, they are providing training for all Reception Teachers to carry out the EYFS Profile accurately.
The EYFSP is underpinned by a set of Assessment Principles
- Holistic, best fit judgements
- Inclusive Assessment
- Interconnected Early Learning Goals
- Informed by the child’s background.
The second of these sessions will focus on Formative Assessment, with 1 more session on Summative Assessment to follow in Spring 27.
These are NOT moderation sessions.
