Music Centres offer opportunities to develop musical skills and talents in a collaborative environment.
We encourage social networking in a safe place and provide regular performance opportunities throughout the year.
Making music with other people in a group or band or orchestra is fun, a good social experience and often the start of a lifelong interest

There are seven music centres across the city of Manchester with a long list of music styles available to learn about. There are two large centres – Blackley in the north of the city and Chorlton in the south, the other smaller centres specialise in a particular type of music such Traditional Irish, Russian, Steelpan, Strings, Folk.
Chorlton, Blackley, Didsbury, Central and Irish Music centres are still offering ONLINE activities and lessons.
The SteelPan and Russian centres are OPEN for socially distanced live activities.
MYSO - Manchester Youth String Orchestra - will also be starting live and online rehearsals on Monday 2nd November at a NEW temporary venue - St John's RC Primary School in Chorlton, from 6.15pm to 8:00pm in the Sports Hall. Please remember you must enrol and leave contact details to comply with government advice.
Standing Order payments are suspended until further notice for academic year 2020-21. Until such time as we can reinstate standing order payments for Tuition this can be paid by two half term payments, if you would like to do this please ring One Education Finance.
