One Education is looking to support schools and practitioners in EYFS with moderation.
All sessions will be led by expert moderators to support you to ensure that we improve consistency and fairness in judgements, helping to ensure that “every child has the chance to achieve and to thrive.” 1 Accurate moderation of judgements is vital help children to build on strong foundations for future learning, which Strong Foundations2 emphasises are crucial in reception and key stage 1 so that children enter their next stages well prepared.
All sessions will start with updates and a focus on a specific area of EYFS before moderating individual judgements with colleagues. Over the 3 sessions, all 17 ELGs will be moderated following the Manchester Moderation cycle.
The Summer sessions will focus on Physical Development, Knowledge and Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design.
