SAFEGUARDING CONFERENCE 2021 - KEYNOTE SPEAKER: SIOBHAN COLLINGWOOD
Siobhan has been a head teacher of a Primary school in Morecambe, Lancashire for 15 years. The school has established outstanding Pastoral Support systems and makes excellent use of links with other agencies and sectors. In addition to her role as Head teacher, Siobhan works part time as a member of the multi-agency Lancashire Violence Reduction Network to promote awareness of trauma informed practice, and to reduce the frequency and effects of Violent crime. Siobhan also works on her local mental health transformation plan steering group, contributes articles for TES on mental health and educational issues and gave written and verbal evidence to cross party Parliamentary groups into the role of schools in promoting positive mental health for children and young people and ACE awareness across society.

This keynote speaker will give you and your school insight into how to better support your pupil’s mental health and overall have more of an understanding of ACE’s and how they impact on our children and young people both in the short and long term.
